03 2500 SLT HO spd, Worth????

I found a Black 2003 2500 SLT HO 6 speed with power windows, locks mirrors. It has 55,000 miles, Turbo and pyro gauges and all the emblems already moved. It is sitting on a dealers lot. I drove it last night and it drove nice, but the gauges have me wondering what else may have been done to it. How much do you think its worth?

I would guess around $27K if it is 4WD, $25K if 2WD. I couple just went through an auction here for $28K, they were both '04 SLTs, 4WD with under 10K miles on them.

Doh, yes its a 4wd. they are asking 29,900 but I know that aint happening. I thought it might be closer to 25-27K.

What you'll find is that the used truck/diesel market is still very strong. Back in April/May I was going to buy used, and I watched a pretty much identical truck go through the dealer (wholesale) auction for $33k. The only difference was it was an '04 and ugly brown w/ 4k miles. So add the padded $$ onto the wholesale price and you've pretty much got a new truck. I just went ahead and bought new. Good luck.
