Have a freind who wants to up power & fuel economey on his 305/555 6sd. Thinking about edge juice w/additude or tst pmcr . Right now he says just a little bit more pwr. Is all he needs ,but we all know how that works in the long run !!!!!! :) :) :) Thanks in advance!!
 
I am about to go with quadzilla race 60 100 140 HP,tell him to look into the standard box with 30 60 100 HP. There are lots of threads to read about it.
 
Start with gauges, intake and exhaust mods. Then add fuel.

Have tried -

Edge EZ - Ran pretty good, but wanted more power. Towing egts were outa there set on the no longer availabe level 5 or 6 or whatever it was.

TS Ramifier - 100 hp, ran great, stong bottom end, fun box. I have one for sale in the classifieds.

Banks 6 gun with speed loader. JUNK! #@$%!



Like ASchwartz said, intake and exhaust need to be done first. I think its a good Idea to install gauges before anything so you can see what a difference each additional bomb makes. You can watch egts and boost and how fast or slow they rise, fall, and what they peak out at, as well as cruise. All good stuff to know. You really need em if you are going to tow with a box that isn't adjustable. That way, if you like to blast up hills with a trailer (I never do that :D ) you'll know when to ease off it a bit to keep from burnin her up. If you are interested in a single box, do a search on that box. There isn't too many products that improve power and efficency that don't get brought up eventually on this site. Good luck!



Oh, and BTW, from my expirences, some bombs may help MPG, some may not. The driver is the biggest variable. Good luck!
 
I would recommend the TST PMCR. Get the one with gauges and you can set the defuel point where you want it. You can start with mild settings, and gain a few mpgs, then go wild when you want to.
 
I agree with the above posts. I ended up getting the Bully Dog Power Pup (downloader) instead of the TST. I knew not to trust myself when it came to keeping the knob on the TST in the lower settings without getting a clutch and turbo. I also purchased the power pup because I tow some with my truck and wanted to keep the egt safe and so far the program seems to be very managable.



Do get the gages. Read all of the posts you can (lot of good information in them) BOMB. Then enjoy the fun of looking at the boost, egt, rpm's while shifting the 6 speed and making sure traffic is clear... . because the you will be there a lot quicker then you use too.

Ebar, what have you noticed on idle and mpg with the PUP? Thanks, Doc
 
I have been running it mostly on the Performance setting and resently on the extreme setting. The idle seems to be stock on both programs (the rpms don't jump round). On the performance setting I seem to get a little better mpg, by hand, about 1 mph better. It never seems worse then stock even when I can not keep my foot out of it.



On the extreme setting, just too much fun. The milage would not be good if I ran it a whole tank to get an idea.
