i took my truck in today for two recalls the transmission line and the ecm connectors. the transmission has been working flawlesly but when i go to pickup my truck i start it and all my dash lights are on and the shift indicator will only lightup park or neutral the cruse control will not turn on and i have no overdrive and no 1st gear 2nd and 3rd and reverse work. so i turn around and go back to the dealer they hook up their computer and drive it around the block and come back and said the transmission is bad i need a new one. this truck was pefect before i took it to these idiots now its all screwed up what do you guys think somebody PLEASE HELP. i think they may have plugged in the ecm connectors wrong and burned something up

Sounds like you got a free ride on that one. I would have them keep it until they fix it, give you a rental (a big one) and after they are done with it, take it to another dealer and have it gone through stem to stern to make sure nothing else is jacked up on it. All this and more on DC's dime.



Your ez/comp (?) may complicate things a little. Presuming that they did not log it in their files, take it off before you hit the next dealer.

Does that mean you took it off, or are we talking about a different truck?

the comp is on my 2001 3500, the 2003 doesnt have anything on it

Ooooooohh, now I see. My bad. I saw the first truck, then just scanned for modifications (injectors, box, etc. ) My brain did not recognize 01/3500drwQC as a performance mod so it ignored it since there was already a truck description in there.



I stand by my first statement, free ride on DC's dime till your truck is right. If they have it for more than 2 weeks, then I think that they need to make a payment on it.
