I HAVE A BUZZ WHEN THE CLUTCH PEDAL IS DEPRESSED AT 2000 RPM AND ABOVE. '03 6 SPD, ADJUSTABLE PEDALS. HAS ANYBODY HAD THE EXPERIENCE? YOU CAN FEEL IT IN YOUR FOOT AND HEAR IT. TBOB

PEDAL VIBRATION 6 SPD

MAYBE IT'S THE LACK OF POWER. MY '99 6 SPD HAD 342 HP AT THE WHEELS, NO VIBRATION. TBOB

It sounds like we have the same problem. I think there are two problems out there some are felt everytime the clutch pedal is pushed in (engine running or not) then the way mine make noise is only when the engine is running and the RPM is around 2,000. Which is the normal shift point so it is really anoying. Mine has been this way since the truck was new and now has 14,000 miles and I think it is getting a little worse. It feels more like a vibration then anything else. You can be setting still in neutral and bring up the RPM to around 2,000 and push in the clutch pedal and about 1/2 through full pedal travel is when I get the noise/vibration. The dealer tryied his best to find the problem but has had no luck. They even went as far as to pull the transmission and clutch assembly. After inspecting everything they couldn't find anything wrong but did put in a new clutch disk and throw-out bearing since they had it all apart, but it made no difference. If you have any luck getting yours fixed let us know because it seems to be one of those problems that nobody can find the cure for

only vibes I get are below 1000 rpm when I'm slowing down and about to push the clutch in. just the NV5600 trying to tame the engine and talking back to me is all I can think of.

Did they do the pilot bearing too?

No, I wasn’t able to push them that far. Although since the transmission and clutch were already out, it seemed like a reasonable thing to do. But they didn’t. Since they did all this work I have put about 10,000 more miles on the truck and it is still the same…. no better, no worse. If it would have been a bad pilot shaft bearing I think it would have vaporized by now or at least gotten worse. One theory is that somehow the clutch pedal is telegraphing noise or vibration from somewhere but from where is the question. My truck has adjustable pedals and it doesn’t make any difference what the pedal position is in. It still makes the same amount of noise/vibration. I’m open to suggestions.

Yes he does.

I just got to work and I may go outside and see if I can feel anything.

TBOB: Have you found the problem with your clutch noise/vibration yet? I still have the same problem with mine at 17,000 miles now. I was hoping that you or your dealer may have found a fix.

TBOB: You may have received this twice??? It doesnt look like my reply went through the first time. Have you found the problem associated with your rough/vibration in the clutch pedal yet. I was hoping you or your dealer may have found the fix by now. I still have my vibration and my milage is up to 17,000 miles now.
