Archived 03 comon rail, fuel pumps blowing,

Need Help!!! We put a mild street cam in my 03 ram. (nothing else) upon starting the truck, it ran very rough at idle similar to a 12 vlave. within 10 minutes the front seal of the cp3 blew up and dumped fuel in the pan. (never drove the truck, just idleing in the drive way) Thinking it was a bad pump, we put a backup pump on the truck and that one blew within 5 minutes. We pulled the cam and reset the gear in case it was on slightly crooked. Put a new cp3 on the truck and new injectors, started it up and it still ran rough and of course blew the pump in minutes. the truck is throwing a p0088 rail high code. I dont know if this cam is bad and tearing the seal out of the cp3 or if the preasure within the cp3 is blowing it self... .



The truck has a older tst box (no added presure) and a bully dog stack on the economy setting. It has a fass 150 pump that is putting out 22 psi.



I am desparate for any input on what could be causing this, it is my off road race truck and I am entered in the baja 500 at the end of the week... ... .

sounds like a press regulator problem or clog in the return.

my fca is new, but my theory now is that the wiring to it is bad and the relief valve is siezed or stuck shut. ????? how that theory sound
