20 min. ?, Check for codes by turning your key on/off 3 times, without starting, on the 3rd time leave on, any codes will show up in the odo window. Unplug your FCA and try to start it next time it does this. It is the small round solonoid on the backside of your CP3 injection pump, just squeeze the release on the wire harness to it and unplug, now try to start. If it starts it will rattle like crazy, do not drive with it unplugged.
If it is the culprit, you can get a new one at cummins for $100. 00 #4932457, Dodge #5183245AA($300. 00).
If unplugging the FCA had no affect, unplug your injector harness and re-attatch, making sure all connections are tight. You may also want to check the connections to the crankshaft position sensor & camshaft position sensor.
If none of this works, take a clean rag and spray some starting fluid on it and wrap around, or place over your intake air filter, if it starts right up, or fires right off, you know you have a fuel delivery problem.
Hope I am not too confusing, been up all night working, kinda sleepy.
