'03 Ford 6.0l gauge options

My brother in law just bought a 2003 Ford F-350 with the 6. 0 liter motor and automatic transmission. We are looking to put gauges in this truck. What else should we consider beside the usual EGT boost and transmission temperature?

Most of them are okay when used as daily drivers, it's the heavy towing that is guaranteed to kill one.

The '03 is the worst year for egr coolers to fail. I guess I would recommend either getting an aftermarket cooler or deleting it altogether.

No heavy towing for this ford! He bought the truck because his half ton couldn't handle the "light" travel trailer he bought. It is a daily driver and lucky for him he got a five year warentee. We'll see with time how it treats him.

He pulled the trigger on it and he knew the reputation so when it breaks he can carry the blame as well. When it breaks I'll be sure to keep a tow strap handy in case he needs it.

i got a father in law like that. knows cummins is a great motor, but god forbid he ever buy a dodge with a cummins.
