Alright, first of all I'm new. I bought my first diesel last year in April. I have been searching around for several days on here and haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I have searched every forum and read what everybody has to say. I need to know if anybody has been running a different pump and having success. I recently purchased and Edge EZ and heve been going easy trying to locate a good pump.

Thanks! I know that this topic has been worn out. Just curious how that system effects warranty because it replaces the stock pump, correct?

I installed a Holley Blue pump in line with the fuel system and and have not been able to drop my pressures lower then 11 PSI. I see normally see 21-25 PSI just cruiseing around. With some steel braided line and fittings, it only cost me $150-$200 to include to the pump. Plus I can go down to the local auto parts stores and purchase a new one if my pump goes bad.

Goodys1ton When you installed the Holly pump did you use a regulator or do you not need one... Do you need to use the braided lines??? Did you use the AN adapters??? Where did you mount it. . Pics would be great thanks Buddy

Braided is not neccessary, but since I had some around the house I figured I would use it. I did not use a regulator, I figured to pump is suppose to put out 14 PSI there was not a need for it. When buying the Holley blue pump it comes with a regulator. Yes I used AN- type connectore. I will get out side tonight after work and take some pictures.

What type of pump does DD supply? Also, does it really come with an adapter to replace the stock lift pump?
It's a Carter pump. Yes, there's a machined adapter that bolts to the fuel filter canister in place of the lift pump (using two of the four original bolts that held the lift pump on), and provides an AN fitting for the incoming fuel line. The stock line from the fuel filter to the injection pump is also replaced, again with 3/8" fuel line and AN fittings, eliminating all the banjo bolts on the supply side to improve flow to the injection pump.
