03 hard starting

Have a 03 2500, bone stock. Hard to start when cold( grid heaters work), is cranky starting when warm. Owner(a friend) has replaced CP3 and xfer pump(xfer pump is in tank one that dealer sold him). Only code he had was something related to low voltage to the ECM. He has since cleaned cottage cheese from his battery cables, still same problems. HELP!

I just bought a '03 truck with similar problems. I bought the rail cap and test fittings to check injector return flow. After running the test multiple times with uncertain results, I pulled them out and had them tested. Once again the results and the symptoms did not match. I am now the proud owner of new 50 hp injectors and the truck starts immediately cold or hot. It was a lot of coin, but wow at how well it starts and runs.

Same problem on my 03. New injectors fixed it.
