03 HO drops in MPG

I have a 03, HO/6 Speed. During the winter I have been using Arctic Express to prevent gelling at -30 below. Arctic Express is also a Cetane Booster. My MPG on a trip (hand calculated ) was always in the 20. xx mpg. Now its starting to warm up outside and I have stopped using Anti Gel Arctic Express so no more Cetane Booster. In 2 tanks of fuel since quitting, I have dropped into the 17. xx mpg. Is it possible that the cetane booster actually also gave me better MPG ?

Yes

Yes, It is very possible. I have noticed the same and I will continue to use a fuel additive.
