A friend just purchased an 03 Dually HO 6spd and wants to start bombing it. I just wanted to help get the right stuff the first time. He wants it to be a sleeper that hauls a**. I told him to start with some injectors in the 50-75hp range and some gauges. The truck is already muffler delete and AFE equipped. I just want to point him in right direction get things he can build on to and that are compatible together like what is the best first box to get to stack onto later.

The TST Powermax-CR is very cost effective. It adds a lot of power in the higher settings, adds timing for better fuel mileage, has gauges built into it, and even has a very good rail pressure gauge. There are other good power adders from other companies, of course. The Smarty is another good value. It doesn't have gauges, but it is very easy to install and remove, and has other features including reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes, and resetting the odometer ratio for oversized tires.

If he is interested in the Modded Rail or Banks Contact us Home He will have to wait for a week or two the Back order list is over 20 . With race season around the corner this list is certainly going to grow...

See my sig. I am happy with everything I have done so far. I don't reccomend getting more then a 50 hp injector unless you paln on a bigger turbo. You just get too much smoke and drivability goes down.

Aftermarket lift pump will be necessary for much hp over stock. If a pressure box is added consider 2or 3 mic filtration. An intake horn is a simple bolt on. Check out the "Cooler Tubz" here in the classifieds. They are stainless and are half the price of the others. Mine is on the way. Tim Worline, tdr member, makes them and the pics I've seen they look pretty good. It sure takes care of the restriction compared to the stock piece. I should have mine in a week or so.

any other ideas? I just got my smarty for my HO '03 nv5600. I already have boost and pyro gauges. what next? Ive been running the smarty on lvl 5 and like it. little scared to go any higher on stock hardware.

See my SIG I like everything I've done so far. Next will be 50HP injectors and I should be done. I pull a 40' gooseneck, loaded it weighs about 15000. Depends what we bring with beside the 84 race truck. Tons of power and haven't lost any driveability. Good Luck and do your homework.
