Archived 03 HO turns over but won't start

In storage, my truck now will not start. It turns over, but will not catch. The only thing I can think of is my duagther was listening to music with the key on and something burned out. No fuses seem bad.

Looks like a tow to the dealer.

Simple stuff first... sure you have fuel making it all the way to the CP3?



Give it a once over under the hood to make sure all plugs are still firmly seated.

Thanks for the reply, but it was more simple than that! F. . in' security lock-out! The factory security system was activated when myself and others opened the doors and did not start the truck, you have deactivate it by hitting the door lock button and then the door open button on the key fob.

Is there an information, how and when the security system engages?

And how to reset it again?

Did your security light blink?

I had some problem with mine (see post in this 911 forum).

Glad you found the problem. I completely forgot about the security systems on the 3rd gens. That's good info to remember in case any of my friend's with 3rd gens run into it.
