I know I know this screams injectors. let me start by saying that i have exploaded my hellfires before right after i first got them from what i am assuming too high of rail pressure. i sent them back to don to be fixed and since i got them back in i have had two pulls on the truck and a hundred of so miles on the street. both with the MP8 off, rail pressure on the smarty on 2 and no added rail with the PMCR. the truck seemes to run great and pull hard then all the sudden it looses all power and starts loaping from 500 - 1200 RPM's with white smoke. im not getting any diesel dripping out the exhaust like it was the first time i broke them. when it did it on the street i didnt have to shut the truck off. i just reved it a couple times and it went back to normal. after the pulls i had to shut her down and restart it a couple times for it to quit. what do you think is going on? could they be sticking open? so far im not a fan of F1. i had this same set up on my stockers and even tho i SUPPOSEDLY had 4 cracked bodies they never gave me one problem. they cost me 300 to fix on top of the 1700 i paid for them. should be doing better than that. im not sure that their the problem this time but i dont know what else it could be.

thats what was thinking. i ran a tank of fuel through it with about 150 gallons worth of fuel treatment/injector cleaner to see if it helps. i will know this wknd when i pull. every time it happens it always throwm PO336 code and it says checksum error on the smarty. i have gotten that before so i thought it was a normal code. could me running the timing set on 18 degrees affect anything. before i got my injectors back i used the R37 remote with the tst and you couldnt adjust timing. now i got the PDA so i am new to timing controle as all this is happening as well.

Are you running the timing on the TST at 18*, along with the smarty?

FWIW, I wouldn't run any timing from the TST with the smarty. Mine starts rattling any time I add more than 3 degrees of timing. With dual pumps, I would also run stock pressure on the smarty. At least til you get this problem figured out.

oil level is good. thats why i dont think it is a cracked body. . TWest. what is the TQ supposed to be on them. I never used a TQ wrench when i put them back in so very well could be too tight. Assuming you need a special torq wrench to do this?? Smarty on #8 with no added timing. i use only the TST for added timing. stock pressures with smarty and TST. MP8 turned off for timne being. I cant seem to get it to do it with when i am running stock rail pressures on the street. I will know saturday as im going to pull with stock pressures to see if it does it. My rail is not capped either and have never gotten a relief valve code for it opening??
