Good Day. I'm looking to buy a used truck without the 5.9l motor or transmission. I have them already. i just need to find a truck with a straight body and clean interior. Does anybody know of anybody selling a truck with a bad motor and or transmission?

You might go by NTG Racing in Santee. Joe the owner might be able to help.
He gets plenty of customers in there and might know of someone.

Do you know what the compression should be on a 99 dodge 2500 5.9L? We are scratching our heads over a sudden loss of power. Tested the MAP/boost sensor, injection pump and fuel pressure. All checks out. it starts and idles perfect but once we apply throttle the turbo doesn't kick in. We are wondering if this could be a compression problem. we want to test for compression and need to know how much to test for. Can you help me out.

It is highly unlikely that you have a compression problem. For the engine to not build boost because of lack of compression would also show up as the engine having an extreme amount of blow-by.

Most of the time when there is lack of boost there is lack of fuel, so the turbocharger has no reason to increase speed (boost). Fuel delivery problems can be mechanical or electrical; for example, the ECM may not be giving the command to deliver more fuel.

Also, a major intake air leak between the turbocharger and the plenum would not allow boost to build.
