Fuel filter cap how much PSI will it hold?

I had the lift pump relocation kit from Mopar that moves the lift pump to the fuel tank. It comes with a bracket, banjo bolt, wiring harness, in tank pump, and hose. Once I removed the lift pump from the filter I installed the bracket, banjo bolt, and hose.

no lift pump

According to an article in TDR, Dodge needs the lift pump to cool the innjectors. Duramax circulates water around them. I am glad to learn it will run without the pump: just in case.

but... you will prematurely kill the injection pump as it is now having to suck fuel from the tank instead of simply sipping it from a pressurized source.

And seeings that the price between the two pumps is a factor of 10+ I'd get a new LP in soon.

My CP3 is now sipping from a pressurized source.

The Walbro is in and I have 16psi post filter (brand new filter). After a half hour of driving I have 15psi post filter. The walbro definetly sucks up everything inside the tank. I am very happy with the kit and the instructions. I definetly recommend it for everyone with a lift pump at the filter.

I have the FASS and my relay quit working one day and I drove about 15 miles and didn't really notice a difference. (It was pulling fuel thru the pump and filter without being bypassed). I didn't push it though knowing what I know about the VP44 failures. I also read that the CP3 isn't nearly as vunerable to faiulure as the VP44 is.

In reasearching about the CP3 and CR systems I read somewhere that there is no lift pump spec'ed for the european market Cummins applications.
