03 stalls at idle please help ..............

My 03 dodge ram 2500 will more or less just idles down when I start it and then back to normal idle . It has killed the engine a few times . It does it in Park N and Drive . The only codes I am getting is p 0700 which is a transmission code that was there before . I am thinking TPS but who knows . Any help will be greatly appreciated .

About a year back my truck did the same thing your truck is doing. The idle would drop a couple hundred rpm and then return to 750 rpm (stumble). Only once in a while the truck would die at idle. Like your truck, my truck did not show any fault codes when the problem happened. I took my truck to the dealer who found the cam position sensor to be faulty.

Maybe check out the Service Bulletin 14-004-05 which has to do with the EFC(electronic fuel control) actuator. My buddy had a similiar problem, and that's what it was.
