03 Tailgate

I have an 03 Silver Tailgate that I am think of removing for are Flow-thru type. Someone I know suggested selling the old one. My question is; Do you think anyone would want a used tailgete???

Sure, people are looking for them all the time. And it is already painted, so if they have a silver truck it will match nicely

If you are replacing the tailgate to improve mileage, it won't. There was a link on here a while back to a study and the flow through tailgate actually decreased mileage.



I use a flow through tailgate while towing and replace it with the factory one when I am not. I really like the ease of hitching and the visability especially in campgrounds when there are little kids all over the place on tricycles .

Bullsh- - to it won't improve your mileage

I have a flow thur tail gate on my 03 and had one on my 01 and I get better mileage and a better view of what is behind my truck when backing up. I have a pic in my profile.

I have had the flow through tailgates on both my 98. 5 and my 03, if there is any difference one way or another, in my case it has been not been worth noting. I have never, to my knowledge, posted any bs on this forum. I just post the experiences that I have had or information that I believe to be correct. No bs.
