Time for a track bar... ... . again. I'm seriously thinking about going with the 03 upgrade kit. Anyone have this for a while now and can give any long term comments on how its holding up? Where is the best place to get the track bar itself? Is there an aftermarket one out yet or dealer only item?

Thanks,

Chris

I have had mine on for more than a year and half now. I have been really please with the TBK and the DSS. I put them both on at the same time and they make a world of difference in the steering, no more wander. I got my Bar from a dodge dealer. But they offer adjustable track bars now along with the TBK and the DSS. Several places have them available http://www.sourceautomotive.biz/ , http://www.enterpriseengine.com/ , http://www.piersdiesel.com/

I am glad i did mine, and it drives as well today as it did when 1st installed.

Chris. .

I did mine back in the summer with the Solid Steel third gen conversion. Its well worth the coin and will make your truck drive alot better. I also did their DSS brace and the lower control arms. If you want to drive it since I had all of the Solid Steel parts put on I would gladly meet you midway so you can drive mine. All of my partts were put on by Enterprise Engine Performancewhile I was there as they are a SS dealer and stock all the parts. Let me know what you want to wheel mine. There are some photo's of the parts on my truck in my readers rig photos..... Andy

Just finished my test drive with the solid steel 3rd gen trac bar. WOW! really nice. Bought mine through Source auto. The S. S. bar actually has upgraded bushings in it. More firm feel than a 3G stock bar. And worlds better feel, then the worn out ball joint set up. Just dumped my Rancho 9000s for some HD Bilsteins. What a comfy ride :D

Putting in the Dss in the AM. :D

Good Day I have had the 03 track bar for 3 years now and it has around 320,000km on it. All I have to say is do it. It is well worth the money and also do the dds Bar.

Good Luck

Keith

Thanks for all the great info. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I usually have been replacing my track bar about once a year. I put 25K miles or so a year on. Federated Auto will exchange the worn out bar no charge, but its just not worth the hassle anymore. I guess I already had my mind made up, just needed that little "push" to get me motivated. :))
