Called dealer today to get a price on a 03 track bar for my 99, 2500 4x4, Quad cab. Parts person asked for a VIN. Said cannot sell one without a VIN because there are different ones. I thought that there would be one p/n for

a 2500 series 4x4 etc. .

Sounds strange to me.

Track Bar Part Number

To my knowledge, there is only one Dodge Track Bar that fits 2003 -04 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 series 4x4 pickups.

Dodge Part number: 52106795AC or 52106795AB

The only difference in numbers is the last digits, C and B. This is only an indicator of supplier, the Track Bar is the same.

Use either part number with your Track Bar conversion kit.

Yes Dave, the Track Bar Conversion Kit works with the levelling kit. We have installed this on trucks with up to 4 inches of lift with no problems.

Russell - I just got done putting a 2" leveling 'kit' on my '01 and found I need a track bar - I like your bracket and the idea of putting in a better bar and forget it - I am wondering about the damper shock relocation, I would rather not and was wondering if it is necessary to shim that out if the truck has the leveling spacers installed.

Thanks - nice product - Eric

Eric,

The damper shock relocation is recomended on your 01, however as we all know, no two Dodges are the same when they roll off the assembly line when it comes to the front end component mounting locations, ie, factory track bar mounts, shock damper mounts, crossmember location, the list goes on and on. All these differences affect the clearance of the shock damper on each individual truck.

That being said, worst case senario without relocating the shock damper is that it will rub "a little bit". However there may be enough clearance as it is.

All damper shock relocating hardware is supplied with the Track Bar Conversion kit, and it is a very easy install.

I just purchased an O3 track bar for my 01 Ram. My local dealer just ordered me one. Didn't need a vin or anything.

I have installed and WOW what a difference.
