:-{} I have an 03' quad cab with 40k on it, and i think my truck is falling apart. I first noticed the problem beginning of the week it has a harsh vibration when coasting moslty at lower speeds but is getting worse. We put it up on blocks to try to find the problem and we heard a "chirping" coming from the diff. checked the magnetic fill plug it had some real fine metal dust on it. The oil was changed at 15k. That is just one of the problems it is also leaking power steering fluid from between the brake booster and master cylinder and it is leaking out of steering box. And the last of the known problems coolant leaking from around the block heater coolant is low HELP PLEASE

On your rear end problem, ck your rear u-joints. The dealer I bought mine at said some haven't lasted 10k, no grease from the factory. I changed mine, but it was at 117k. If you haven't cked the TSB on the power steering line, do it. The vibration will cause leaks, happened to me. Replaced the line with the one with the weight on it and solved the problem. I had to replace the power steering pump, the vibration had apparently pulled the threads and couldn't stop the leak.

thanks EB since this is not a recall should i tell the dealer i want this hose replaced or wait and see if i have trouble with it? what kind of problem does this hose cause?

The dealer contacted me about the power steering hose, also about the ecm connector. You don't say how many miles you have but everything you mentioned should be covered under your warranty!! Good luck. John
