03 with surge in power

my 03 has a superchips programer in it and has a lot of get up and go, but i notice that when i really hammer on it in 5th or 6th that it has a surging kind of acceleration. the same is true when i have a loaded trailer on it. im getting the fule filter changed today, but i think that i have conveiced myself that it is the injector pump or transfer pump. has anyone else noticed any other cases like this.

I have a bit of that too at higher TST settings (6/6). I had hoped the FASS & larger banjo fittings would take care of it but it didn't. Mine has done ths since I first put the TST on at 10K. I dont think there's anything wrong with the HP pump, must be some other weak link.

I would make sure this isn't your clutch slipping first.
