Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
my 04 was used to haul a 16,000 lb 5th wheel for three years about 10,000 yearly total 15,000 with daily driving no 5er. 3 years ago the trans was rebuilt to true hd specs. all regular maintenance is done as needed, and the truck is looked at by a hd truck mechanic every year Necessary repairs done. What kind of repairs should I expect going forward?
2+ years ago i stopped pulling the 5er. My new mechanic says that the the truck needs a tie rod, upper and lower ball joints both sides and the u-joints are bad... the est cost is about 1G.
Other repairs / Mods
air bag suspension, Turn over goose-neck ball, added engine brake , new brakes complete rebuild rear / new pads in front, new computer board, exhaust manifold replaced, lift pump replaced, enhanced intake air filtration.
archoil oil additive used whenever the oil is changed, archoil fuel additives used at each fill-up (yes the stuff works)
