At this point, I have not seen a failure due to low fuel pressure, but the trucks will miss, run rough and be down on power.

Obviously, we have our own ideas (and kit) for the 03+ fuel system.

Unfortunately DD isn't allowing customers to purchase individual components from their kit... I wanted to buy just the fuel canister adaptor... no can do. :(

P. S. Keith - I mean no ill will... just wanted to point that out for anyone who might be trying to design their own system.

That is correct. We package everything as a kit. Comes with a fuel pump, line, fittings, adapter, etc. JP - check our website for info on the kit.

Ryan, if we were to sell just that fitting, it would be VERY expensive, since it would have to cover the R&D costs associated with developing the kit those years ago.

Keith,

That is an excellent point that I must confess I did not consider. Not being a small businessman myself, I have no idea what you guys must go through to bring product to market (but I imagine it's painful).

I'm sure the DD kit is a quality piece. It's listed on their website under the "Other" section under Dodge/Cummins. Couldn't find any pics, though.

Comes with a pump, wiring harness to connect that pump to the stock lift pump plug, adapter for removal of the stock lift pump from the back of the fuel filter/heater housing, new fittings and lines from the filter housing to the CP-3 and a short instruction sheet. :)

Keith,

What will this kit do for my truck? Maintain fuel at what pressure? Warranty on this kit? Do you have any picture of the kit that can be posted or emailed if needed?

Thanks, Jeff

That kit will usually make 16-18psi at idle, and at 500hp, no less than 7psi WOT.

We have not test fit it on an 05 yet, but believe it will be the same.

Ryan,

I guess that Fuel Preporator must be the best kept secret on TDR... ... ... ..... I have almost sold out of our first run of billet fittings (a no cost option for the AirDog) that replace the '03--'04 stock lift pump with an threaded, flare fitting. We sell them separately like we do all of our fittings. They will work great with homegrown fuel systems ( :p ) and for folks that prefer to install the AirDog in a manner that retains the stock fuel filter. This fitting uses the OEM allen head screws and OEM o-ring. very nice. Cost to your door is more then a large bargain pizza but less then the 12 gallons of diesel that I bought last weekend in Detroit. ;) (We have overhead too but our machine shop guys are diesel enthusiasts!) We also have Boston Weatherhead #8 fuel line, 12mm billet fittings (steel) to replace banjo bolts (we manufacture these) and much more. HTH's

Larry,

Can you email me install instructions for a 2004. 5 ? I am interested in what I would need to do to install the kit. Does you kit replace the stock fuel lines from the tank?

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

The TDR email wouldn't let me attach the electronic version of the manual. I'm out of the office tomorrow so if you would email our IT guy @:

-- email address removed --

less the removee-- he will send you the manual. I'll PM you my cell phone # in case you don't get though.

Ryan,

Sorry, I thought by your post that you were still looking for a fitting.
