Heres a pic without the gay flares. Don't go above 35" or 315's or you'll need to regear.

RAMINSPEED, do you tow with your truck? Just wondering how your 315's with auto trans and 3. 73's do?

I have the same gears & trans but have been holding back to 33" tires for better towing.

I find 70 on the freeway feels about right RPM & MPG wise but @ 80 the 315's would be better then towing in OD might not be possible.

Oh and BTW... nice looking rig Oo.

Hrmm, but can he comfortably tow in OD at 60-65 mph?

i wouldnt tow below 60 or so in o. d. the line pressure is to low and if you have any engine mods you'll slip the transmission. plus the rpm's aint that high @ 60 in drive but i have 35's. i tow a four horse trailer w/3 horses with NO problem i just dont grab o. d. until im doing 65 or so. your not going to hurt anything by running your rpms up a little (except maybe the mpg).

You're far better off to tow in direct than overdrive. It may cost you a little fuel but fuel is way cheaper than transmissions.

I would personally go with the Skyjacker kit with replacement leaf springs or an add-a-leaf. The Superlift kit uses a block to lift the rear of the truck. Skyjacker has a 2. 5" kit, or a 4. 5 or 5" kit. The reason for the 4. 5 or 5" kit is that trucks with the hemi get 5" while cummins trucks will end up with 4. 5" lift.

Another option is to use the superlift front lift with the skyjacker rear springs. I'm sure you could just buy the individual parts.

I never was a fan of lift blocks.

I agree with Spooled. Either the Skyjacker or the T-Rex. T-Rex is really good if you are looking to do some really hard off roading. Skyjacker if you want a functional lift for a decent price. Just my opinion.
