What do you guys think?? The sliding rear window on my truck squeaks, especially when dusty, but seems to squeak more with age even when clean.

On uneven ground I can hear the window moving in the window frame. Is this a bad seal from the factory? Truck has 12,000 miles, and has squeaked off and on since new. Dealer put some lithium grease on the felt portion of the window near the opening, but did not touch the frame on seal. Do you guys think the dealer needs to re-seal the window to fix the problem or is there something I can do. The squeak is getting annoying :(

Thanks for any input :) :)

Mine drives me nuts . I'll lean back and push the bottom of the window so it sits different in the frame and that helps a little bit. If you find a fix let me know :D

I thought I was alone. Mine seems to be coming from the seal, not the latch, but I can't tell for sure because its hard to get back there and listen for too long when I'm driving. :-laf It does't do it all the time, but mostly after i've been drive for at least an hour. .

i had same problem with latch, my fix was to put felt in between the latch with some glue so now when you close it their is no plastic to plastic contact the felt keeps it quite. good luck

Is that where that $%#$% noise is coming from??? I've been going nuts trying to find it for the last few months. Like previously mentioned, kinda hard to diagnose while driving. I thought it had something to do with not getting the headliner back in properly. The window makes a lot more sense. Thanks.
