04 Ford transmission Problems

We received two 04 F-350 CC, LB, SRW Power Strokes w/ autos about 8 mos ago. transmission on one toasted and being replaced under warranty and the other been at dealer for transmission recall. Ford does not have a better idea and their trucks are not what Ford boasts.



I was down at a Ford dealer checking status of our trucks and the owner came out trying to "sell" me on the better built, stronger Ford. When I tols him I'm perfectly happy w/ my 02 Cummins, he asked me if I knew that Ford owns 18% of Cummins. I just smiled. I told him I'd come back and test drive one his $50K trucks. I'll drive the heck out of it then take him for a ride in mine. I'll also print from the Cummins website where Cummins sets the record straight about Ford ownership myth.



So, feel very good about our Dodges! The Fords just don't make it.
