04 fuel problems

truck idles and starts down the road good but then losses throttle response and cuts off now and then, changed fuel filter a few times, ran howes thru the tank, not sure where to go from here, no check engine light or anything like that

It could be your lift pump going bad. I am guessing you don't have a fuel pressure gauge. Someone with more/ better answers then me will chime in and can probably tell you how to check for sure.

It is classic symptoms of a dying lift pump...

not sure, now it has went to running like it is suppose to, quit once yesterday, headed out not to try it some more, i guess time will tell
