'04 Injectors

I'm looking for a single (lightly used) stock injector for a '04 5. 9 CTD. I have one going down and all the others are good, I just don't want to spend the money to buy a new or rebuilt one, some times I wished I drove a 2nd Gen! I thought maybe I could find someone who replaced their stockers with hot sticks or something.

From what I have been told (researched a bit as well) is you do not want to put a used injectors in the mix. Replace with new. Depending on how many miles are on your truck you might want to replace all. I had an injector causing me starting issues at 160k and to avoid having to climb in the top of the engine every time one decided to crap out I did them all. Did you have the injector in question tested?

My truck just rolled the 100k, got to get my first grille emblem from the high milage club! I had the truck run on a computer at the local diesel shop because I had noticed that there was tick in one of the injectors and I wasn't sure which one was the culprit. I have heard mixed reviews on using the computer to check injectors, but I figured since I new an injector was starting to go down and the computer confirmed it, it was accurate enough.
