04 QC 2500 rear seats ?

Besides the bottoms folding up, does the back of the seat fold down?

There's a seat belt type strap behind each headrest that seem as though they will pull out. Nothing in the O/M about it.

This makes me want to grab some wrenches just to see what's back there.

No, the rear seatbacks don't fold down.



Those straps are for use with car seats (said the man with 4 grandkids full-time).



They're for the tether on LATCH equipped car seats. It's in the owner's manual.

If you do decide to explore back there, Just unbolt the seat from the floor. Lift up the whole seat about 3 inches and it will separate from the mounts on the rear wall.
