I quit hauling conex box's. Too high EGT's, terrible fuel mielage, and if your pushing a 20mph coastal wind - it makes for a miserable day.12'. . 24'... :-laf Try this!!! 48'x9'5 high, 10,520# can on 40' 9400#, 39" off ground trailer, pulled by 9100# truck!![]()
Meredog, how much does she weigh empty? I'm looking to get a 48' toy hauler in 2 years and I have no clue about what those things weigh in at. I'm going to buy an '09 or '10 Reg cab 3500 to pull it. I guess a toy hauler will weigh a couple thousand more with the living quarters.
Well, I need living quarters in mine so yours wouldn't work. I'm going to be living in it full time and traveling out west. I was figuring around 12k lbs on a 48' toy hauler but it sounds like it may be less. That would be great. I've found new Haulmark 48' toy haulers for $30k. I thought that was a pretty good deal. Thanks for the info.
Looks like I'm in a slightly more exclusive club. I call it the "Not everyday but a couple times a month I'll gross 40K club. "
Oh yeah, my dog's smarter than your's is too.
