05 24v rebuilt motor stumble???

The injectors appear to be correct i have tried to run the truck with the new set installed as well as the entire old set which ran fine at break down, so i have used a total of 14 injectors including the machine shop trying theres on 1,5. it produces the white smoke at all stages of running warm hot 700 - 2000 rpm. Agree on the cap but i did not have 2 block off tools to check the running without 1 and 5. As for the compression to be over 500psi a fresh rebuild that is normal, it needs a minimum of 350 to run and many with a 100k plus have over 450psi. I am looking into a second block off to isolate 1 and 5 together to see if it goes away. I am completely puzzled. i am so far down the rabbit hole there is no turning back.

It is normal for 2 injector to fire when the key is first turned on, that is the ECM bleeding the air out of the rail. That will stop as soon as the engine actually fires and runs.

Is the white smoke definitely fuel? If so you still have a bad injector(s) somewhere that is hung open or a botched install. Without buying a known NEW good set and doing the install correctly it is hard to dismiss injectors.

You have checked the air intake to make sure there is no oil in it? Oil level is not rising?
