On the AMA front axle pinion seal, is there 2 seals or is one a dust cover or what? I see only a standard type pinion seal on Rock Auto, But watched some video that showed two pieces once the yoke is pulled off.
- One just pulled out by hand and the other was a standard type seal that you have to chisel out to pop it out.
-Or is there a exploded diagram of the AMA front axle parts anywhere?

Also Im going to replace those torx head bolts that attach front drive shaft to front axle pinion yoke with regular bolts or 12pt bolts. What size are those torx head bolts? so I can get the right size non torx head replacement drive shaft bolts?

Two seperate seals, 9 and 10 are the seals. Here is a link Torque king 4x4 is a great resource for parts with great information, I've gotten alot of axle components, and seals from them. I sourced my front pinion seal kit from them.

For the bolts try an M10-1.25, don't quote me but that's the size the comes to mind when i replaced mine with some 12point bolts from a Japanese 3piece wheel set.

If you look at the part listing in the diagram you can see the year range for the application.

Its 03 and up , the 05 AAM 9.25 isn't exclusive in this application

I've never had to call them because their write ups on parts, applications and procedures are always thorough.

In their seal kit they include the wear sleeve, I thought to include it since its a wearable item that can cause a pinion to leak.

These are Genuine AAM parts if that matters to you.
