05 auto trans issue

Have an 05 auto and possible issue. when I goose it or take off from stop and let off it stays revved up. lower speeds mainly seems like converter is locked. any ideas. thanks

It's normal so don't do that. It takes a bit for the rail pressure to bleed off and the injection to slow down. Its a safety feature to keep from spiking rail pressure.

Also remember the throttle is drive by wire. The computer controls power not the throttle cable.
