'05 Break in - Towing questions.

Read the manual on break-in. Says not to tow for the first 500 miles. I have 777 miles on it now and the B&W is now installed.



The manual says that for the first 500 miles of towing not to exceed 50mph, but is pretty vague other than that. Anybody following this rule? I want to do it right. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

I tried to follow the 50 MPH/500 mile rule but cheated a little. I drove about 55 and crept up to 60 as I got closer to 500 miles. My mileage was pretty good at those speeds. At least I was in Calif where the speed limit is 55 for towing.
