So I bought this truck it's a 05 dodge 2500 4x4 auto. It has dual cp3 and a lot of other work. I rebuilt the motor and put it all back together. The motor runs fine except for the rail pressure it shows I'm running 28k psi at idle and even with the key just in the on position(truck not running). When it is running my injectors are really poppy and when I rev it up it's bouncing all over the place on rpms. I replaced the dual cp3 controller and that didn't help. I the. Found that my plug on the stock wiring harness for the cp3 wasn't getting power. The truck has a wiring harness from hell it's caught fire and been spliced 15 times. So I bought a new harnes and trans harness.

I hooked the new harness up last night and made sure the ground on the back of the head, fender well (the one in the middle of the battery), and the one motor mount were all connected. I used electricle grease on all the plugs. I did have to wire a new crank sensor plug on it. The truck now will roll over but won't start! All my gauges aren't working and my bully dog pmt won't read my check engine light now.

Need some help on this cause I'm a 12v guy and this is my first common rail.

You have a bad connection in the data bus harness somewhere if the BD won't read, or, the ECU is not powered correctly. Either wires wrong or connection bad. Same reason for the no start, unless the ECU is powered and transmitting it won't fire the engine.
