05, Cummins HO, 3500, 4 wheel drive, 4:10 axles; added Banks Six Gun, Speed Loader, High Ram intake and monster Exhaust and Gear Vendor overdrive, 30,000 miles. I have a 50 mile highway run each way to work. Truck ran great, average mileage 18. 3 to 19. 6.

On way home last Sunday, noticed smell of fuel, was about five miles from home, did not push it just got home.

Fuel in Oil, had overflowed causing leak.

Towed to Dodge Dealer, of course not covered but they say the Banks system caused the fuel pressure regulator spring to go bad, which damaged the pump and injectors with to much pressure and caused problem.

Banks says there system does not generate more pressure than the stock fuel system is designed to hold, Max 27,000 pressure? Dodge says to much pressure caused damage.

Can someone help me understand the actuals of this situation and recommend a place to get work done so I can have the increased performance and mileage but realiability also? I live just south of Memphis TN, and have not been able to find a performance aftermarket service provider. Seems like there would be some upgrades for pressure regulator, pump and injectors so I can get this fixed.

Are there other areas I need to have checked since I have had fuel in the oil?

I understood when I put the systems on that any problems would be mine.

Appreciate any help, especially finding a service provider in my area!

im sorry to hear about your truck, but in the future, stay away from anything banks that is electronic, ive head of a number of failures due to the banks six gun, and they do nothing to stand behind you when you have a failure and thier product in on your truck, SOL, as far as pressure, i was under the impression that banks did only timing and lengthen the pulse of the injection, i may be wrong, but ive never heard of pressure with thier box, never the less, the dealer is going to cut you no slack, you had mods on your trucks fuel system, and they are getting strict with mods, infact they try to deny you warranty at all costs, even if the mods had no cause on the problem, which i think is a big load of crap, but they are doing it, all i can offer is good luck, maybe youll get lucky, but if you engin has had fuel in the oil for a while now, i would be very concerned about internal engine damage, ( bearings, pistions stuff like that due to the dilluted oil. )
