'05 door seal replacement

Oo. Took my truck in today for the door seal fix,air conditioner fix(cold on drivers side hot on passenger),and leaking master brake cylinder. Dealer said the door seals would cost 60. 00. Have you guys been having to pay for this? Truck has 43,000miles with extended 100,000 mi warranty.

NO, mine were replaced free. Maybe another dealer?

Got my seals done for free also. Had the same problem with the A/C and the charge was low. Brought the truck home today and it's cold on both sides.

That would be covered by the 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty, which you are beyond. All you have now is engine & powertrain through the Cummins and Chrysler 7/70 warranties. Not sure what your 100k mile warranty covers. My guess is it is engine/powertrain also, or has a deductible that is more than the $60.

I thought there was a TSB for the door seals. If you have to pay for them, you can install them your self in about 10 minutes, they just pull off and push on. There is only on size, you will have to trim them if you have a regular cab.
