05 Driver Side Radiator Tank Busted.

My driver side radiator tank is leaking and probably about to bust any second. You can see a crack in the front side of the tank. What are my options? Who has replaced a radiator and whad did you replace it with? I need to keep her moving! TIA!

Update: Talked with the reputable local radiator shop and will have the leaking unit replaced tomorrow with a new one that has a 3 year warranty. They have done good quality work for us in the past with our equipment.

Update #2: New radiator installed and all appears well. Saved me doing a coolant change myself.

So I take it you got a whole new radiator and not just a new side tank?

Yes. The cost difference was too little not to get a complete new radiator with a warranty.

sometimes it is cheaper to go with the new radiator, but when it isn't i am lucky to have a quality radiator shop nearby. kell radiator in douglasville, ga will replace leaking and broken plastic tanks or build you new aluminum tanks. they also repair oil and transmission coolers and a/c condensers and evaporators. i am not affiliated with kell radiator in any way, but i thought any members in the area should know about such a quality shop
