05' DRW CTD 6spd order problem

Hey everybody,

Tried to place an order on a 3500 DRW CTD 6spd.

Went over the options on the truck with the sales rep and tried to submit the order but it was getting rejected due to equiptment code AR 9 single rear wheel group.

The sales rep tried to eliminate the single rear description from the order to submit as a dually but was unable to.

He stated that he can't order a dually right now?





I'm dissappointed to say the least and I didn't have this problem when i ordered my 99.

I took back my deposit and asked him to call if he figures out how to place my order.

Any similar experiences , anybody?

Could depend on options other than the SRW/DRW. The six speed is probably going to be on delay while they exhaust the supply of 5600s before going to the Getrag in January. If you ordered a sunroof, that is a known restriction.

What's up with the "going to Getrags in January"? What kind of Getrag? Why would they switch from the 5600?

FYI - the sunroof restriction will be lifted mid to late october, at least thats what they are telling us

Finalized my order today on the truck, was given a VON , VIN will be given later obviously.



I'd like to keep track of the truck forgot how i did it back in 98'.

Now the waitin' starts.
