05 Dually 4X4 mudflaps who's got em ?

Gentlemen

With all the rain and mud here in So ca the past week I need to break down and and get some protection for my Toybox the duals on the 05 just hammered the s*** out of my trailer. I know you guys have been putting some good looking ones on your rigs. I had Northwest customs on my 99, but can't seem to find out if they are still in business. Any links or manufactures would really help.

Try www.proflaps.com I've got them on my 05 DRW very nice and they have the chrome weights at the bottom.

I put the Mopars on mine. I like them because they were easy to mount and they're flexible so I don't have to worry about a curb taking them off. They were cheaper than all the "aftermarket" flaps I looked at too. I put them on the fronts and the rears. I think they were about $35 a set at the local Dodge dealership.

I have the rubber ones I mine (Mopar I guess). They are OK, but the are hard to clean. I wanted the hard ones like I had on my 98, but around here they only available with the dealer name stamped all over them and I didn't want that. I like the looks of the Pro Flap, but the price is a little steep for something I don't really need.

I ahev the Mopar ones on the rear of my truck.



When I clean my truck (which isn't very often) I spray on a product called "Bleche White" on my mudflaps (it's whitewall tire cleaner). A quick scrub with a nylon bristle brush cleans them up nice. After they are dry, I spray with a tire dressing (I use son of a gun) and they look brand new. Since I use these products anyway on my tires, it's not much extra work.

mac, Jason is still around. I have some molded ones I took off when I converted. Look in my Reader's rigs for some pictures. I'll sell them REAL cheap. They're just taking up space.

My truck is sitting about 900 miles away from me :{ sitting in the airport parking lot. As soon as I get back (mid-week) I can shoot a picture for you.



I wanted to clean up my truck anyway!



BTW, they do cover the tread on both tires pretty well (stock 235/80R17's)

I got the Mopar rubber from Malloy Dodge here in Albuquerque. They were $35 minus 10%. They were easy to install if have a right angle drill or you may have to remove the wheels. I also got some for the front as well. Grizzly

Fred Swanson gave me a good deal on the molded ones that he had. I did removed the wheels to install them.
