Did my first oil change. Bought the KD Tools strap wrench ($35). hard nylon strap, doesn't grip worth a %#@^&*. I also bought at the same time the KD tools # 2029 square drive oil filter ($15)wrench. the $15 model worked like a champ http://www.kd-tools.com/2029.htm.

Do not buy the 35 $ model http://www.kd-tools.com/3529.htm

On another site this was the recommended strap wrench http://www.kd-tools.com/3149.htm. I couldn't find it so I choose the 2029 model.

Oil change went smooth. No biggie removing the turbo hose.

2005 CTD 3500. stock about 2500 miles on it.

best wrench available is from jhardwick, a fellow TDR member.

I got the last one. He shut down his machine shop due to competition from China.

I bought one of his wrenches and it didn't work very well on an '01. I had to buy an '05 just to use the pretty wrench. Works great!
