Competition Predictions for Fall Brawl 2004

No cummins yet but:

4. 56 gears

Electric Lockers-both axles

"Electronic swaybar disconnects"

33" BFG all-terrains

12,000 lb Warn winch

This is no joke I read it in the DC times.

only engine option will be the Hemi, and I'm kinda glad because I can't afford to be trading trucks right now!:D

Yeah but the cummins is awful heavy for just 33" tires to be offroad... frontend would sink like a stone. I'd have to lift it and slap 40's on it at least.

Who knows more about the electric lockers? Any posibility of adapting into our American Axles????

What I meant is does this Power Wagon have the same AAM axles? If so the product may already exist with slight modification to our OEM units.

Any idea how electric lockers would hold up in a cold climate. I'd like a set but I want to know it WILL work at -40f.

I saw a video of that truck. DC was talking about it as it rolled around on some rocks. Pretty cool.

Don't Eaton and Detroit make a new electro locker for these trucks? I dunno anything about it but it might be worth checking into.

Doesnt look anything special to me, looks plain jane 3rd gen. If I want a offroader, I'd rather have the Jeep Rescue, I think its called, now thats an offroader and has a 'real' engine. .

It also has a higher stance than a regular 2500. This is accomplished by using different springs that are not only taller but have a softer spring rate to help with articulation. The down side to this is a slight reduction in payload and GVW. I belive the GVW is around 8,500 as opposed to the 9,000 pound norm for a 2500.

Also, after 1-1-05 the 6 speed manual will be available in conjunction with the Hemi.
