I'm getting 13. 5 with 8500 miles on it but it weighs in at 9400 lbs with tool boxes, rack and all my stuff. I like the way it runs though, plenty of power for a stock set up

Then released with a hint they had had low fliud.

Funny that the G56 in all the MBZ trucks had no low oil problem, Same transmission so why do the ones in Dodges need 1 more qt of oil ???

thinks for all the information i decided to get the truck if the dealer can find one i will miss my 01 though it is a great truck my family has just out grown it i need the room and an 8' bed so that ruled out the mega cab also is there a break in peroid on this truck i have heard yes and no

Everthing needs a little break in when new. Diffs,trans,engine etc,. Just follow the owners manual.

I have a 325/610 3. 73's QC 2005 auto with 3400 miles in it, and I am consistently getting 17. 5 -20 mpg. I have found, like others here, that if you stay out of the boost and under 70-72mph, the mileage should be in that range. I think the final drive ratios in top gear are close but not exactly the same between the 48RE and the 6spd.



Get it... ..... you'll love it. Mine has exceeded my expectations!

my dealer has a found a truck and i should be in it tomorrow now i'm getting that sick feeling in my stomach about trading never lease a truck if you want to keep it and cant pay it off i hope the 05 is as good or better than my 01 i will soon find out

just got my 05 with nv 5600 with bully dog pup on performance and bullydog 5 inch cat back am getting between 16 and 17 driving back and forth to work at the chrysler dealer in rural pennsylvania,have not yet took it on the highway
