Actually these are the forged aluminum rims. If you check the back of the spoke you'll find that they're flat/solid. The cast aluminum rims have a dished out spoke. I have the forged aluminum rims on mine. I love them and I get compliments on them and the truck all the time.

SWEET! I actually went back and re-ordered my '05 so I could get those rims because I originally ordered it with steel wheels. I saw these rims on a late '04. 5 and HAD to have them and since I re-ordered, we decided to go with the sunroof also!

What else can you tell us about the '05 changes??? Ram on the tailgate, interior dash molding, etc?

It's the same rim as the 04 just polished.

Not so, there are chrome steel wheels and polished aluminum wheels, my 04. 5 came with the polished wheels since I ordered the sport package with my unit which I think got me the wheels.

If you look at the back of the wheels, you can see the forging marks. These are not cast by any means.

Just so you know these wheels are made by ALCOA. I got this from an article regarding the new Power Wagen and it noted that the wheels are alcoa's.

XcX, they're just the factory standard alloy wheels now... wait a bit and you should be able to find takeoffs for pretty cheap from dealerships installing "custom" wheels on their lot trucks so the can gouge the customer for even more $$...

XCUMMINSX,

I can keep an eye out for a set. I deal with a local shop in town that deals with a lot of dealers and they take the stocks. If anyone wants Hummer wheels they have at least 10-20 sets chrome and silver.
