Does anyone with an '05 with the rear sliding window have one that constantly squeaks? If you open and close it, it will go away for 5-10 minutes, but like old faithful, the squeaking returns. I would hate to lose my truck for a day, to have a kid look at the truck and say "yup, it squeaks!". TIA

Mine doesn't squeak and I don't think it's a normal thing. If you don't want to take it to the dealer, cut a length of 3/8" dowel and place (tight) between the passenger window corner and the slider. The dowel may also help with break-in theft. I spray painted my dowel black so it doesn't show.

YES!!!! mine squeaked like crazy all summer long. I figured out that it was dust build up from driving 6 miles of gravel road every day. Now that the rain is here the squeek is completly gone!!!! Clean all the dust off and it should go away for a while.

Mine squeaks bad, too. I called the dealer, and she told me that all the trucks up here do it. I havesince figured out that it is the dust that causes this. It's snowing here now, so the squeak has gone away. I'll try the dowel Idea too. Thanks a lot! :)

Mine Squeaked for a little while. . it's just the rubber on the latch side being dry or dirty. . Try putting a little lubricant on it. . something clear and not too messy. It doesn't take much
