05 windsheild leak... clearance lights? anyone else?!?!

Dads 05 quad cab short bed 3500 srw has a water issue... This started with going thru the car wash and having water run down the inside of the windsheild, The dealership replaced all 5 cablights, well one of the maintenance guys at work took it for the day to clean and same thing is happening. Monday Ill ask the maint. guy what location the water was comming from...



Anyone else have this problem?

When I had mine done the dealer said there was a TSB on them and replaced the lights with a redesigned light. There are rubber gaskets on the bottoms. My other ones didn't have visible gaskets. Since then haven't had any problems. (Oh,mine were leaking out of the drivers side sun visor mount) Not sure where yours are leaking

My 04 leaked at the cab lights, when I pulled them, the gaskets were intact, and no water marks or stains found. Where it came from was the screws holding them on the roof. If you look, the screws are outside the gasket, and will allow water to get inside. I put a little dab of clear silicone, like the bathroom sealant, on each screw, and haven't had a drop inside since.
