05 won't turn off

A friend calls up just now and says his 05' 3500 won't quit running when he turns the key off and removes it. The steering wheel locks w/ the key out, but the truck is still running. My first thought was the key "tumbler. "

What do you guys think? What's the best/safest way to get this truck to shutdown? BTW, he has an Edge Juice on this truck, I believe this is the only mod.

Update: My buddy talked to Edge, they said the Juice has probably failed and that the cool-down timer has malfunctioned. Sounds very plausible to me.

Safest way to shut it down is probably to starve it for air. I'm not sure how you'd do it, exactly - that airbox is big.

Another option would be to disconnect the lift pump.

I have an 05 that had the same problem, i did not run any programmers. . Dealership found that fuse box underhood had internal problem, so had to special order complete fuse box assembly. . When this happened, and it happened four or five time with in 7 months, i just unplugged injector harnesses to kill fuel. .

Starving for air is about it. . plywood over the intake or something like that.



The CP3 will draw fuel on its own, LP is not required for operation.

Thanks for the ideas. Edge told my buddy to pull a couple of fuses to turn it off. He did, and it did.

He's already sent the Juice back to be repaired.
