I bought this used 06 2500 QC in January, and its obviously got some sort of a Rough Country lift kit on it. What puzzles me is that the front of the truck sits an inch or two higher in the front than the rear, which isn't a huge deal, but I pull a 4000lb Tag trailer a lot. When pulling the trailer, the front is quite a bit higher and the headlights aren't making any friends on the road. The truck also has a fiberglass topper, and I've noticed the truck is fairly level without the topper.

Is this just a front leveling kit, or was it part of a front/rear lift? What can I do to get the rake back where it belongs?

Yes that is a levelling kit. Poor mans lift kit. From the sounds of things you would be better off removing them. Depending on what size tires are on the truck, you may or may not need anything at all. They do make smaller levelling kits for the top of your coil springs if you need a little lift to keep the tires out of the wheel wells. If you go back to stock you will need the OEM tower mount that sits on top of the coil spring and has the studs that go through the tower.

Thanks for the info JR. What about lifting the rear a bit? What options might be available there? I'd rather raise the back up a bit than lower the front.

Put a set of air bags on the rear, then add a two inch lift to the rear - - - found a set at Summit for the rear with new 'U' bolts complete was less than $100. and easy to install. Now my truck sets level with or w/o the travel trailer.

Thanks for the replies. Next question. Is my rear spring/axle setup stock? It looks like 3 thin shims between the axle and the spring...
