06 5.9 Valve cover damaged

2003-5 had aluminum top and bottom halves to the valve cover, with a plastic trim cover for the crankcase vent/filter on top of the cover. In 2006, they went to a plastic one-piece humped cover with a 1" thick aluminum plate over the head and under the cover. The electrical connectors are in a 1/2" thick plastic piece sandwiched between them.

I have a perfect 06 cover that i would gladly trade for an earlier metal cover. I like the 06 cover but I need to cut off the oil cap riser and tig it on lower as hood clearance is an issue.

The 06 injector wiring harnesses are different than the earlier models not a viable option in my mind
