Dually, I believe you've got a split inner boot on the tower since it's the only thing holding the fluid in and the OEM boot is prone to crack and split. You'll probably find that a Dorman 614-002 is a better and cheaper replacement.

remove the cupholder and the shift stick the red rubber boot will have a split in it across the top. now is the time to change oil. fill the transmission with delvac synthetic SAE50 wt transmission fluid from ww granger or Castrol 50 wt is syngear CD50 o’rileys p/n syn 50-5, next pour two quarts royal purple syncromax through the shift tower while the boot is off. on the dorman i think you need to cut one large ring off before installing, use the smaller width hose clamps

Maybe three qts or synchromesh for a 1 qt overfill? Carl's got a good formula.

C KELLY Mahalo brother will do truck is on its way to Tacoma from Hawaii going up in July will do it then .Where are the screws for cup holder?

Look for the orange boot in my pic. It's the leak on yours. The shifter stays in place for boot replacement. I had to buy a complete new shifter. Wife broke the factory unit.
